My Thoughts On The Thermomix Debate

Here's my thoughts on the Thermomix debate that is constantly raging on social media.....

If you want one..............................buy one

If you don't want one......................don't buy one

If you've got nothing nice to say about one..........then say nothing at all.....
or as my hubby would say "shut the f*ck up!

Pretty simple really.

Linking with Essentially Jess today for #IBOT...it's my first time so I hope I'm doing it right!!

  1. I have no issue with anyone criticising the thermomix- and yep, I have one. I have issues with people attacking each other over their opinions on it though. By all means- correct misconceptions or disagree- but no need to get personal. It is, after all, just a kitchen appliance, no matter how fab!

    1. A little bit of debate can be okay but I totally agree that there is no need for it to get personal...as you say it is a kitchen appliance at the end of the day !! Thanks for stopping by!

  2. i know that people often say disparaging things about them in posts etc but I didn't realise it was such a big issue! It's a bit sad really. There must be a deeper issue there. The haves and the have nots. Feeling insecure...not sure.

    1. It is a bit crazy when a kitchen appliance causes such an issue!! I think the issue goes deeper too because a lot of people seem to get really worked up about something they apparently don't even want lol!!

  3. I have one, I love it, I use it all the time but it's just a kitchen appliance. I do not understand the vitriol it seems to generate so totally agree with you Veronica. Who would have thought a kitchen appliance could be so emotive and why do people care? First world problems!!!

  6. Perfectly said. I have one and use it regularly. I don't always love cooking with it as let's be honest, who does like to cook all the time?!?!

  7. Can we apply this to everything please. So sick of judgy crap, rudeness, overreactions and criticism all over the web lately. I am with your hubby!! And the thermo crap was the most absurd of all- people obviously have no problems in their world if they need to get nasty over an expensive appliance. Xxx
